Charles Farley: How long have you been camming, and what attracted you to it?
Vixen Jones: I've been a cam model since September 2016! I was drawn to it because I've always had a huge libido that most individuals can't really keep up with! (laughs) But in all seriousness, I was working as a nanny for 50 hours a week, barely making $9 an hour. And after 2 years, I was desperate to try something new and fun. At the time, I was looking into going to school for graphic design. I've always liked art and tech and it seemed like a beautiful way to marry those two passions. While I was school hunting, I realized I would need something keeping me afloat. A friend mentioned the idea of camming to me. After a couple streams, I was hooked completely. It was a way for me to be the tech nerd and the creative type in a way that left me craving more - more interactions, more innovations, more cool games or goofy ideas to try online, and it's my own sandbox to experiment in.
CF: You have gotten a lot of attention with your roleplay clips. How did you become so comfortable and natural on cam?
VJ: What's funny is that I used to be afraid - and I mean, mortified - to try a roleplay show. It felt so awkward! I felt like a weirdo! But the moment I realized the guy on the other side was just as nervous as me, it clicked! Like, "Wait. We both don't know what we're doing... I can't mess this up!" and I stopped trying to “perform” for guys and started just playing together with them. It's just like a grown-up, sexy version of playing House! (laughs) When I put it in that scope, the nerves of trying to perform the “Best Show Ever” melted away, and just by trying to have fun with my guests and not being afraid to laugh at myself, I end up having some really fun shows and boys who have fun with me!
CF: Do you prefer making recorded content to upload or performing live? And why?
VJ: That's a hard question! I'll tell you, the hardest part of making videos is coming up with ideas for them. It's nice because there aren't any unexpected moments, and you can edit out all the times you stammer "Yeah, you know you want your wet pussy in my fat- oh no, wait" … but it can feel like a lonely chore, knocking them out one after the other. I really enjoy the flow of ideas and interaction that comes with performing live - not just providing your own ideas, but hearing your playmate's twist on the concept, and I like that the dynamic can sometimes change out of nowhere! Sure, it throws me for a loop and I might not react gracefully while I try to understand what's supposed to happen next, but the unknown is exciting and fun! It's a tough question, but I think I prefer live shows just a bit more.
CF: You seem to play a lot of video games … naked. What’s in your current top 3 (naked or clothed)? Do you ever game with fans or as part of your cam show?
VJ: Top 3 games?! Oh, this is hard. I love Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but I also love Pokemon Go and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Those are the top three for me right now... All time favorites? Sims 4 on PC, Super Hot on Oculus, and I used to be all over World of Warcraft, up until the Pandaria expansion.
I've never played online … well, more than just opening Pokemon Go! because an egg was hatching randomly … but I think it would be a fun idea to play Animal Crossing on cam! Maybe in a Party Chat? And maybe invite a select few boys to my island with my Dodo Code. That would be such a fun way to interact online! Thanks for the idea!
CF: Your sense of humor shines through in your performances. Tell us about your funniest on-cam moment
VJ: Oh God! I'm full of funny cam moments. I just say dumb shit until somebody laughs, and it's usually me (laughs). But honestly, I think the funniest thing that I've done online was this big group show where I had a "dinosaur egg" that you could break open and see what was inside. It was about 6" by 4"... and I had the brilliant idea to save the surprise for a cam show. I told guests joining my chat … in a bad British accent – "I just procured this dinosaur egg. I plan to hatch and raise him as my own. Please join me as I bust this sucker open with my ass, and help me meet my dinosaur son." I spent the first 4/5 of the show trying to be sexy, rubbing my ass on it, squashing it slightly. And in the last minute, I REALLY tried to crack that sucker open, but it was a little tougher than I thought. In the last 30 seconds, I was hopping ridiculously high hard and hard to pop him open and it started pinching my cheeks where the egg was cracking! When I did finally open it in the last 10 seconds, a T-rex looking thing popped out, and the only way I could think to end the show on a satisfying note was to look at my dino boy, turn to look dead-pan to the cam, and sing-quote Hamilton's famous line... "Look at my son." (laughs) A beautiful on-cam moment that stuck with a lot of fans and was totally on-brand for my goofy ass!
CF: Your bio talks a lot about group sex fantasies. Did you discover this through camming or before?
VJ: I've had group sex fantasies before getting on cam, but a lot of friends I make online are ready to fuel that fantasy for me regularly.
